Is Brown trying to 'do a Thatcher' in the Falklands?
Discussion
I hasten to add I'm not normally in the habit of reading The Sun, but I got a glimpse of this on the news stands this morning:

The root cause appears to be some Argentinean posturing to take the heat off troubles at home but, with an election looming, a suitably desperate and devious politician over here might seize on it too. Any takers, Mr Brown?
According to the article there's currently 4 Typhoons and barely 1,000 total personnel there. With Afghanistan and Iraq still on the boil could we actually repel an invasion?

Is that one Astute class with a complement of Tomahawks based off the islands would mean the Argentinians wouldn't have a scoobies.
