I hasten to add I'm not normally in the habit of reading The Sun, but I got a glimpse of this on the news stands this morning:

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/2858607/...

The root cause appears to be some Argentinean posturing to take the heat off troubles at home but, with an election looming, a suitably desperate and devious politician over here might seize on it too. Any takers, Mr Brown?

According to the article there's currently 4 Typhoons and barely 1,000 total personnel there. With Afghanistan and Iraq still on the boil could we actually repel an invasion?

Winky Brown has not got the balls.

He is more likely to give the Islands back, along with a load of our Tax money to make up for the inconvienience.

Bit like Scotland.

General feeling here: http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?h=0... will it kick off

Is that one Astute class with a complement of Tomahawks based off the islands would mean the Argentinians wouldn't have a scoobies.
