Hi All

My daughter is thinking of visiting Las Vegas in June however, she will only be 20 (not 21 till August). Will that seriously restrict what she can do?

Thanks

As teh minimum age for gambling and drinking (and accessing bars adn clubs) in Vegas is 21, I would not suggest this will be the best age to go. I get ID'd a lot when I am there and I am 42!

Although there is plenty to do beyond partying and gambling, that does kind of miss the point of visiting Vegas really, so can she not wait another year?

Partying/gambling - yes. Sightseeing - no.

It would kind of defeat the object.

There are plenty of places to go in the USA where you don't need to drink, or Canada. (We went to Toronto for a couple of nights when working in New England.)

Australia and New Zealand are more relaxed on drinking if she wants an English speaking holiday away.
