Renault mechanic - Bagshot area?

Hi - I've got a Clio Diesel that I believe is in need of a piston ring. Does anyone know of a reliable either Renault or otherwise mechanic local-ish to me, who might be able to do some honest diagnosis, and a good repair?

Am not worried about being a full dealer type place - just someone reliable, eben if he(/she) works from home, but just want if fixed for a reasonable sum!

Worth calling PJ Murphy in Winkfield, specialises in small and french but works on pretty much anything, one man band behind a stables/tack shop but very good and completely trustworthy.

Get some qoutes and then give him a bell he will tell straight out if he can match it rather than waste your time.



Also worth saying that he maintains my scooby for me, i don't trust many people with my P&J and dealt with it's electrical gremlins just after xmas in a day at short notice.


ETA He lives in Bagshot too.
