Bolt on track day silencers.....

Does anyone know of silencers that can be bolted onto a Tamora Jp exhaust? Im just curious to see if any have been made to save me putting my standard one back on.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

You could fix supertrapps but they would need to be adapted to suit. Not to much of a problem if you know somebody who can tig weld.

As far as I am aware there are no bolt-on track day silencers for the T350/Tamora JP Exhausts due to the rolled tips on the backbox.

That is why I have a new system developed by JP exhausts which is still much deeper and better sounding than the standard exhaust but is track day legal and comes in at 98db if memory serves me correct (when they tested it).

I dont believe the exhaust is in full production yet as I got their prototype but it also includes new centre pipes from the cat-back so is not just a bolt-on backbox.

I can confirm that the system is a great compromise although I do miss the volume of the standard JP some times, but I wanted a nice looking rolled exhaust that still sounded fruity under load, and to be able to do track days this year without the hassle of changing/swapping boxes.

Might be worth giving Tim @ ACT a shout as he is the one that sells the JP's...

I love the noise its makes under full load at the minute and thought it would be a case of having to put my original back on. I got the JP one from ACT so ill give them a call.
