Definitely drugs or some other scam.

Anyone remember the clip of the (hired) wrecked Murci in East London from "eid"?
Or the (hired) white Gallardo crashed in a country lane last summer after a wedding?

All three cases were young pakistani lads. It's the same near where I live - I've seen an 19 year old (who I've been told by a very good source has no licence) driving Fezza'a, Lambo's, etc, and usually like a prat. He's a drug dealer.

One guy will set up a hire company, hiring from other, usually above board, companies in his own name, and will then hire these cars out to the local drug dealers and scammers at a profit, no questions asked, who obviously have plenty of expendable cash.

Bunch of cts the lot of them.

Can we have a little perspective please.

An Asian, a young Asian even, CAN acquire monies and (de facto) cars by legal means.

And you don't have to be a young Asian to be brash, tasteless, arrogant or irresponsible on the public roads. I am sure statistics will back me up on this - not every pranged supercar had a 21 year old Asian with an earring and a tentative adherence to Allah's teachings at the wheel.

Of the tens of thousands of Asians in Bradistan or LULahoreTON, not every one drives around in Italian exotica. They are still a rare occurence.

Let's face it, almost any 21 year old male who finds themselves behind the wheel of a Lamborghini would need to have inhuman self restraint not to drive it like an utter penis.

How they came about the money to rent it is largely immaterial IMHO.

I dont think ethnic origin is really that relevant, happens to all types.

Remember the guy below?

VAT Fraud.
They'll all go to prison sooner or later. F**KING A55HOLES.
The rest of the cars, as said above are probably rentals.

P.S. Must be "interesting" parking your £150K supercar on the driveway of your £50K house... Nice.

I don't understand what planet the people are living on who suddenly cry out drugs or crime when they see something like this.

It is not difficult to live with mummy and daddy on a minimum wage job paying no rent, no bills and having all your food cooked and prepared for you, to then save up your pay cheque every month to rent a Lambo for the day and act the big man.

The thing I always think of is what happens to the owner of these cars? They guys driving are either unfortunate or have no respect whatsoever. If unfortunate, then I'm sure they're upstanding and would sort the mess out, paying the excess etc.

But, if they have no repsect and an attitude of "so what, you cant touch me" then the owner of the car is left holding the baby, with no recourse.

Personally, I wouldnt dream of doing top end rental for precisely this reason.

It's a mixture of both.

I lived in East London (Ilford) for 6 months and am lucky I got out alive.

The "friend's" house I stayed in had a family involved in selling on stolen goods (laptops etc), cannabis factory (from one of their rented homes in the area), ripping people off (including trying to steal my bank details), taking the keys of my car and driving it without my knowledge (did £500 worth damage), benefit fraud (claiming benefits whilst taking cash rent), etc.

The young kids would often be driving around in "rented" exotica, which they showed no respect for at all.

All of this is considered normal behaviour in east London. I reported most of this online to the Police and Tax fraud people but they did nothing.

I got out fast and moved straight to South Kensington, and I'm glad I did so.

Scum.

That does seem to be a favourite scam of a good amount of asian chaps from what I'm led to believe. Remember this chap? http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/glasgow_and_we... he was the accountant for a bunch of asian chaps running a VAT scam in Glasgow, wanted out but knew too much...alledgedly

There is a big VAT fraud going to trial later this year - may be the biggest on record.

The above aside ... at least they showed the number plates so we know which cars to avoid !!! Be interesting resale on that Murcielago ...

I'm Sikh Asian (no turban!). Lived in Calverley on the edge of Bradford. Originally from Newcastle and now in Wolves.

I hated Bradford with a passion. st heap with some nice cars, nice food. Everything else was sh!t..

Glad I moved away..

I am friends with the joint owner of a very reputable dealer in supercars in Yorkshire.

I remember one time pulling into a shell station and seeing a lad that looked about 12 driving a yellow lambo. He handed over a wad of cash to my mate, said he needed it for another week.

Stupid kid could not get it into reverse to back it out of the forecourt..

Drugs methinks...or rich daddy's..

I could go out and buy a fezza lambo or whatever else at 29. Being asian and all. All above board.

Wifes a CID officer, so clean as whistle me....HMM...Now if I only I could remember where I put that suitcase..

Notice the rear wheel , broken rear upright again.

Almost every Lambo crash I have seen the rear uprights go, does seem to be a weak spot on Murcie and Gallardo.

That's what happened to me and put me off the road.

Goes on all the time in East London and it's always asian lads.

Usually someone hires a decent car for a weekend for, say £1000.

Then they "sub hire" it to any stupid c t with £200 for each half hour.

No insurance, no licence, no nothing.

Sadly there is far too many insurance scams......pathetic !

I heard from a friend that a chap who hired a Merc off Europcar and hit his "friend" car on purpose and the "friend" sued him for compensation for his injuries so he can get money. So stupid !

And most self hire insurance WONT cover Birmingham area due to insurance scams being pulled !
