Elise Sport 190

Hello I am new to Elise ownership having purchased an 03 Sport 190 in November. I have done a bit more research on the car than driving, but did have a lovely day out on Wednesday on the twisties of Hertfordshire. I have to say what a great drive it is. I have been trawling the forums for possible upgrades to make the K-Series unit as reliable as posible. A 'remote thermostat kit' seems a popular suggestion.
Can anyone offer any advise please?
