94 320i se Auto box problem

Hi
I have a e36 1994 320i se auto which has just developed a gear change problem from cold. First thing in mornings starts up, I put it in drive, but started to take an age to change up. Gearbox is fine after a few minutes when warm.
Appreciate any solutions as to why this has started to happen.
PS This is the Sealed transmission unit (No d/stick)
