Union street is complete grid lock.

Any idea what it's like as you head south on the A90? I'm going to Montrose and am wondering when to leave.

According to Traffic Scotlands live cameras, Lauencekirk has no snow. In between may be a different story.

It stopped snowing in bod a while ago. Maybe about 1"+. My road was a sheet of ice. I was out pushing cars up the road. Seems to be cleared now. Bus has gone now.

It's now started snowing at Laurencekirk on the Traffic Scotland Live Eye Views, stopped in Porty though! But stuck in Badentoy due to a jacknifed lorry and an RX8 according to sources!

Bizarre, sitting in college and the sun is shining like anything! Plenty of sitting snow though but the roads (in town anyway) seem clear.

I thought it might get worse as the day passed so I decided to "nip" home and swap the Exige for the Wife's Disco.

Kirkhill to Old Aberdeen took the guts of an hour and it was a nightmare.

Cars were unable to get up the hill on St Machar Drive and the Haudagain queue (heading out of town) was tailing back nearly to the Hein Gericke shop.

I had frighteningly little grip and I can't figure out why as the roads looked slushy as opposed to icy.

... and now, of course, it's sunny and warm and the snow is just about gone.

Cheers,

Eric smile

Well it's not really snowed since this afternoon.

Main roads are clear.

Think it's meant to snow tonight.
