Well, it's my dads 50th this year, so I'm hoping to get him Ryder cup tickets.

Problem is, his birthday is in March, and they won't announce if you are eligible for a ticket until 'Spring' 2010.

So, do I buy him the practice day tickets (available) to be sure that he's going, or print of the confirmation for the Saturday application and say, if we don't get tickets, we'll do something else instead?

I've selected the option to allow 'buffer days', so if we can't get Saturday tickets, hopefully we'll then be offered alternatives, but won't know until a later date.

Cheers

Nice thought, I'd get the practice tickets if you live close otherwise it could be a trek for maybe one day & then head home just as the action is starting.

Has he a big tv ? Could be a nice back up prezzy.
I got a 52" just in time for the 08 one, it was fantastic watching it on thatbiggrin

Yep he has a big TV with SkyHD, we usually invite his old man over as well as they're both passionate about the game.

Fingers crossed! We live pretty local, so a practice day isn't exactly a no-go!
