All i want to do is send out of office replies to all incoming mail - ie reply to all senders regardless of whether they've already received my out of office.

I can't see a way of doing this using the office assistant as it only specifies "reply once".

I can set up a rule in outlook but this will only run when outlook is running - is there a way around this??

frustrated of somewhere on a Friday afternoon confused

Don't use the out-of-office assistant - go via Rules & Alerts instead and set up a rule that does what you want. Something like "apply on messages I recieve, where my name is in the To or CC box, have server reply using a specific message".

Use it with care - modern versions of Exchange aren't too bad at detecting mail loops but you can quite easily cause one with older versions if you have two people with "auto-reply to everything, always" type rules.

Also check that rules to the internet are enabled on your Exchange server too as by default they aren't (on all the versions I've used).
