He seems a reasnoble chap.
One chap from Corus rang on the phone interview to ask about the steel closure.
Gordon was apparently not aware of one possible bidder for the company. The caller went on to say that Tata have no real interest in selling the company as they would instantly become competition to their operations.

So this presents 2 questions.
Does the PM really know whats going on or is he so sheilded away for the day to day stuff he is unaware if issues?
Secondly is this really the reason why Corus has not been sold?

(on standby for the flames)

No forward planning, that's what's wrong with British Industry these days hehe

To be honest, even a small scald from the coffee machine is a step in the right direction.

So the man who over past week or so, was apparently doing all he could to save Corus, didn’t actually know about companies interested in buying the place,

What an absolute, 100% incompetent idiotic wker

To be honest there was a fair amount of police/securtiy and as much as I have heard good reviews of the hotels the queen offers I prefere life on the outside.
Any takers for the questions above regarding the non sale of Corus?

Do you think when people first met Ted Bundy they thought OMG he's a psycho!

No they thought "he seems like a nice chap, I might as well help him out in his cellar".

yesh but my point being say if I raised intrest in buying the comany who's to say that gets passed on? Could it really be that there are parties who would buy the company but TATA is blocking them or not regestering their intrest?

Seems likely. See also the reasons mentioned in other posts regarding the huge sums gained from the carbon-credit scam.

IIRC, TATA are set to GAIN $200m in carbon credit/scam thingys for closing the Redcar plant. The world has gone mad, it really has.

Last summer a mate fitted a new cinema projector in the cabinet room at No10. Winky hung around him and his colleague all day as he seemingly had nothing better to do having already fked up the whole country. Well, you know sometimes you really hate people off the telly but in real life they turn out to be lovely when you actually meet them? Well, Winky isn't, apparently in the flesh he's an even bigger cn*t.

Gordon is lieing. He's not that thick or ill briefed.

Corus will be closed because Tata are being paid £200M of taxpayers money to close it and open one in India.
