Another Lotto thread - a bit different...

Ok, we've seen the fantasy garages, some eclectic, some just lists of the latest and most expensive offerings, we know whether or not you'd announce your win to the world's press...

What I would like to know is, within reason, what is the one thing you'd like to do? that one ambition which you have never realised, but could and would with the luxury of both time and money?

For me, something I've always wanted to do is the Paris-Dakar rally. People who know me and my riding skills (or lack thereof) may laugh, but I didn't say win it, just have a well supported crack at it.

So, over to you...

I would like to get into motor racing, some sort of amature championship

I think I would like to go racing. Take a team to Le Mans with an Aston or a Ginetta, or maybe a 2 bike entry into the BSB's.

I've always wanted to follow the F1 races around the world. Start in Bahrain, then follow each race from country to country.
I figure it'd be a good way of travelling the world. Well, some of it.

I'd also like to do a season in the British Rally Championship.

Finally, doing something along the lines of 'Long Way Round' also appeals. Not to that extent maybe and I can see myself 'flashpacking' a lot more than they did but the idea of an epic road trip definitely appeals.

I think walking out of work after resigning and knowing I will never return would be enough for me.

On top of that, having a access all events family ticket for the 2012 Olympics would be fantastic.

Car related.... just concentrating on learning how to drive on a circuit, getting regular tuition and then going on shed loads of track days. Maybe getting a track prepared MKII GTI to base at the Nurburgring and getting a Caterham for over here.

Also make sure I go to Le Mans at least once just to see if its as good as everyone on here says it is.

now there's a thread all of it's own! How many other bands would you do that to......?

I'd get LOADS of tuition on all forms of driving, road, track, stage etc - I'd just like to have a tiny proportion of what the really good ones can do.

Then some rallying - the historic long distance stuff Paris to Peking etc.

I'd like to quietly pay off my mate's mortgage that he is struggling to meet since he had an injury and just wait to hear that he has received a letter from his bank saying he no longer had a mortgage.

Then, after he knew I was in the money we could sort out the piss-up and what cars we want.

Go motor racing - probably something relatively simple at first like the MR2 Championship, to see if I'm any good before maybe moving on to something bigger
