Wedge lights

I bought my first TVR (350i) 1 month ago, before I bought it I checked that all the electrics worked, which they did, but now I have a problem with the lights! The O/S pops up, but N/S does not until I turn the lights off, then it pops up and goes straight back down again. I can hear the relay for the working light clicking but can not identify which relays to check...... Any ideas please. Thanks Mark

Ring the factory and get them to send you a copy of the wiring diagram , this is pretty invaulable if not 100% accurate for my car anyway. I think the lamp pods each have their own relay and are on the same middle row of the relay panel but not alongside each other (cunning eh?) also the lift motors themselves will probably benefit from stripping down and clean up the motor commutator (copper bit which brushes run on) and make sure the brushes are free to move in their sockets. When I stripped mine down they both had water in them! So put back together with lots of silastic. Also mine 'winks' as well when you turn the lights off ( RH pod rises and closes after turning off) so this may be a common fault / character of the car
