Neighbour has a Discovery 2. Overnight it has suffered some sort of problem with its rear suspension. It is sitting down on its arse like a dog having a dump. On starting it is making lots of clicking noises but not levelling. Any idea what the problem might be?

leaking airbag or maybe a pipe leading to the bag causing the pump to overrun causing the clicking noise. Get it sorted before the pump burns out completely

And that happens very quickly. If you do let it go on, a new pump is about £250. To check airbags put some soapy water round them and watch for bubbles.

Pop over to UP's site and you'll have a full how to on the rear bags.

Check the height sensors too, cheaper than the compressor....
