The Flickr site says to use code like
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/driverrob/4319647017/" title="GTO front end by driverrob, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2714/4319647017_496d83d93f_o.jpg" width="800" height="535" alt="GTO front end" /></a>
instead of the simpler
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2714/4319647017_496...
which most people use, as did I until I had a photo made unavailable by them, with a warning.
I was using my own website for hosting but some got too many views and I exceeded my site's bandwidth one month - another warning.

So, can anyone tell me how to use the longer version of the code, please?

Post flickr shots like any other site, you just need the image url and use the [ i m g ] tag.

or if you want to link your photo to a larger version.

I think I see what you've done there but it's not the same code that Flickr is offering and strongly suggesting I should use. Did you have to manipulate that code yourself or did you pick it up from somewhere else on Flickr?
Am I the only one who's had an image made unavailable?

PH doesn't support the normal Flickr code, you have to change it.

You need:

[ url ][ img ]full path to the image[ /img ]|url to the image page[ /url ]

e.g.

[ url ][ img ]http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4007/4337208145_08cb1c8c48_o.jpg[ /img ]|http://www.flickr.com/photos/binaryimage/4337208145/][ /url ]

PH doesn't allow you to use the title, size or alt attributes. It's a shame, really, that PH doesn't support the basic IMG and HREF tags - the tags are stripped to stop you doing silly stuff with other tags but it would be nice if these two were allowed.

OK, sorted. Thanks for that.
