Peugeot 206 speedo not working

Hi All

I am hoping someone is able to help me?

I have a Peugeot 206 GT and my speedo has stopped working but all of the other gauges work as they should?
I have checked the fuses in car and engine bay which all look ok, even removing and pushing back in the shunt fuses but still no good.
I put the car on axle stands putting it into gear and the speedo works normally as does the odometer but when driving down the driveway the speedo reads 0?

Is the fault a faulty vss or something else?
