Gordon Brown - a big bully or just "pushing things forward"?
Discussion
I reckon he'll be throwing a lot of newspapers at the floor today...

but definitely not hitting anyone, or throwing chairs around, or smashing phones, or kicking things.
At least not until after the election.

Does it matter if this story is true of false. It might well be a load of old tosh, but the damage is already done.
Gordon Brown beats his staff.
No amount of 'strenuous denial' will change or alleviate the nagging doubt that maybe it's true. The man would appear to be known for his moods, his bullish and bullying tactics, his hissy fits, his temper and his tantrums. It's not a story that is beyond the realms of credibility.
You reap what you sew and Gordon has just started pushing up daisies. Even if he/they win the next election, he'll be out the door in a matter of weeks.

Harriet Harman commented today about the allegations in Rawnsley's book:
"No.10 has said (the allegations) are not true, and that should be good enough for people"
Oh yes, of course we all know everything No.10 says is always true.

And Harriet Harperson would never do anything dodgy, would she?, so it must all be true, OK back to work, nothing to see here!"No.10 has said (the allegations) are not true, and that should be good enough for people"

There seems to be a few books that have come out or are coming out shortly that expose the hypocrisy and other insider secrets of the Labour Party - I am tempted to check some of them out.
Has anyone read "Inside Out" by Peter Watt - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Inside-Out-Peter-Watt/dp/1... - bits were syndicated in a paper, and it was quite interesting but I'm loathe to buy it as I don't like idea of willingly giving any money to someone who helped ruin the country over the last 13 years.
Any other intriguing "tell all" books out by ex labour loyalists?

I Still maintain that if a prime minister "adjucates" it should trigger a general election, WTF is wrong with this constitution?
To have an unelected, clearly "not normal" guy running the Country is beyond belief!

If what is being claimed is true, which going by Rawnsley's record, they could well be, then No. 10 have lied - knowingly. Also, if I had allegations such as these made about me, I would not only resign straight away, but I would be thrown out anyway. He HAS to go, and if he doesn't, anybody who votes Labour is seriously misguided.

Unfortunately there are a lot of misguided people around at the moment...Most of them in power at No.10.It wouldn't surprise me if Brown was guilty of these accusations as it would be an indication that he knows that he doesn't know what he's doing and is unfit for the position.

I can't believe that if it's true, he wont resign. He has got to go, and NOW. The sooner he goes, the better for his party. If by some miracle (not a good one) Labour manages to win the election, then it is almost certain that we will then have ANOTHER unelected leader for 5 more years; it doesn't bear thinking about.

Frankly, if your boss acted that way you could have the company in court and the manager sacked. Hell, possibly arrested as well. Yet we are supposed to let this creature run the country? I mean, with that level of self control it's little wonder the country is f***ed.
