PistonSheds - Workshops matter
Discussion
Afternoon all, I've got a 20' by 10' workshop in the back garden that's pretty much knackered. I'd like to replace it with something the same size but the usual google searches come up with a choice of either cheap and rather flimsy looking options or some ridiculously expensive versions that I'd be quite happy to live in. Anyone got any good recommendations for a replacement?
Thanks

Have you looked into the aluminium clad buildings ? lay a concrete base and then bolt everything in.
this sort of thing:

I got one of these in the end. Works well, easy to put up and good quality.

I threw up one of these up 15 years ago.
Local JCB owner dug the footings. I threw in the rubble, carstone and liner. Two £250 cement mixer loads were required for the base. The 18' x 24' DIY structure cost less than £4k in old money. Electrics including six 5' striplights cost £100 using reclaimed stuff.
Very pleased, but with hindsight (and a lottery win), I could have done it better.
