Not massively so but a TT that age with so few miles should be a good chunk more. I would imagine its a scam of somesort. Why not mail him?

I may do, maybe the price is because it's in Antrim, I have a friend that lives there though. thumbup

Gut feeling says it looks too cheap, email through private hotmail address and not PH, and a foreign name (I know that shouldn't be bad but in combination with everything else...)

Why not get in touch and see how it unfolds? My bet would be western union, shipping agent, car is abroad, etc...

It does, but I had the misfortune of driving one of them for a week (cabrio 180) and I couldn't wait to get back into a diesel Mk1 Focus! Utterly hateful machines with no redeeming features dynamically...

...so I wouldn't even pay that much for it.

Hi,

The car is still available for sale,it is in perfect condition in and out,100% HPI clear with a certificate to confirm, full service history.
I just got married and moved with my Italian husband in Milan,Italy.I took the car with me so the car is currently here.
I can`t use it in Italy because it has the wheel on the right side and it would also cost me too much to register it here.
It is still registered in the UK and since I have absolutely no use for it I am looking for a fast sale( this is why the low asking price)
I can ship the car from here directly to your home address and I am also willing to cover all delivery expenses.
I look forward to your reply
Regards
Darian

Yes, we can all see it's a scam. They are getting better though, both the advert and the first email response give little away with the language they use. They are pretty good with just 1 or 2 clues. It's easy to see how the less knowledgable get hooked in when greed takes over. smile

The advert was already removed from the listings, but was still visible via the direct link.

I've fully removed it now, banned the user who posted it and sent a warning to everyone who contacted it via the "Click here to email me" button.

For reference any advert which says "Please e-mail me directly at (emailaddress) because if you will e-mail me through PH your messages will go to my spam folder and they will be automatically deleted." or similar is definitely a scam. They have started to do this recently so that we have no record of who contacted them and cannot send warning emails.

'She' should have dropped it off at WBAC.com, seeing as they would hand over £4995 straight away.

It it weren't an obvious scam of course.
