sat nav question.

Just upgraded my mk4 nav on my e46m3 with the latest 2010 disc should i be able to get a 7 digit postcode up or is this not available?

I can get 7 digit PC with my 2010 disc but the times I have used it the pc I'm after has not been listed, so it ain't that brilliant even now!
I have a feeling that it might be more than just the latest disc needed to get the full pc in the earlier cars.

I purchased a Z4M Coupe a couple of weeks ago that came with a High 2010 DVD. I've been wondering about the postcodes too.

Any help / advice would be great.

I guess you are in the Big Apple!
It might be a different system on US cars, on the UK/EU the postcode search isn't anywhere near as good as on my Garmin Zumo.

No. Thought I'd better check my location after reading your comment. Sadly, I'm in Northants rather than the Big Apple - I've obviously been random button clicking on my profile.

The car is an 07 plate - I'm not sure whether the on-board computer or the disk is the limiting factor. Any ideas?

Ah it's that GBGB's is a club in NYC!
I have a feeling that the head unit in an 07 might not support a 1/10 disc. What has your dealer told you?

I had that very place in mind when I chose my user name.

The dealer said that it was a limitation of the on-board computer, but I thought I'd do a little digging for myself before I accepted him at his word. We've had a few interesting discussions about the accuracy of some of the other information he has provided
