Hiya Folks,

Does anybody have any pictures of cars with the old, single headlamp but with the pod blended in as per the newer models? Has anybody done this?

Many thanks

It can't be done with the standard headlamps. The pod needs to be removed to replace the glass.

Cheers Alan,

I knew that but just wondered if anybody had gone ahead and done it regardless on account the lights are not something you change often. Everytime I clean the car I keep thinking it would look much nicer without the gap around the lights - and I have just cleaned it!

I know what you mean Flash - But just think about it as one of the quirky characteristics of the car, just one of the things that make it special smile

I like the old style lights, and I like the new style pod lights, but which one is best?

.

Not a big fan of conversion or the replacement pods

It could be done . If you securely attached the bighead fasteners to the bezel you could cut away the complete lamp holder assembly then secure it with the same screws . It would be quite easy to do .

Old every time. The new ones are straight from a fiat multipla.

+1 I'm a sucker for the original lights myself too. Even if I liked the new type I wouldn't change as I wouldn't be arsed unless it made the car faster hehe
