What would you say the Land Rover market lacks? Parts, car sales, services. If it was available, what would you want to buy? What are the areas that need attention or improving? I don't think there are enough decent 4x4 schools for example.

Over to you.

I think its fine, maybe even to many companies in many aspects seeing it as a chance to make a quick buck

Have been running my business for over 30 years and have seen many start, get big and fail soonish after.

I think if you do the job right, keep prices right, you should be alright.

What bugs me is that some larger business' go to the wall owing loads of money to private people, tax and VAT man, and then are up and running in no time to do it all over again.

Don't forget there are only so many slices in a cake.

Andy.

Accessible 4x4 training for numpty Discovery 3 drivers. Rather than full on off road macho courses , some form of quick n easy training for those that havent got the faintest idea how or when to select the right mode, right box etc
How to go up and down snowy and icey hills, what to do if you are sliding, what a difference the right tyres make etc...
People are amazed that my wife wont take our disco 3 down our road when it is sheet ice - they think that 4 wheel drive defies physics, and some of these people are discovery owners themselves.

For your own enjoyment & safety, everyone who owns a 4x4 should have some basic training as to their capabilities. They are equally capable and fallable in the right circumstances. If you dont know where the line in the sand is then you are missing out or endangering yourselves.

You wont know which until it's too late.

But most people never use the 4x4 aspect, there used as cars so should every car buyer be trained to use it?? if someone wants 4x4 training they'll go find it if its used to go to tescos they wont. And anyway buy a new landrover and they will give you a day or half day at landrover experiance center showing you what they can do off road even if you only go to tescos in it

Surely if you have a new RR you go to Waitrose or M&S or even send someone else to go there.

I have been to Tescos twice. And in fact went on Saturday. Almost got over it now.
