Soft Top Enhancement
Discussion
For anyone who is looking for a sure fire way of completing a spring valeting job on their pride and joy I have found just the job.
My Griff's hood (only 4 years old) had become rather faded and tired looking and let down the appearance of the rest of the car.
I used Renovo Soft Top Reviver and the difference is astounding. I used the dark blue colour to match the original fitting and it looks as good as new.I have to say its not cheap at £30 but it does exactly what it says on the bottle as they say. When its done you will realise just how sad and tired the old finish was looking!!
Application is by paint brush and then left to dry for a couple of hours. I would strongly recommend completely covering the interior of the car and having plenty of paper towel ready for the drips and splashes onto the bodywork. Its not a job you do in your best clothes either as it gets everywhere and your hands end up looking like a 3rd year with a leaky fountain pen.
Saab dealers stock the Renovo range and they have their own website www.renovointernational.com (I think).I haven't seen it anywhere else before.
Silly question i know, But i have a Griff 500 in a Light Violet colour. But the hoods so faded its hard to tell which colour it was or should be? Any one out there know which colour it is? or which colour to buy for the hood treatment as quoted by "Becky". You can see a pic of car on my user porofile. Thanks......
