Cayman Islands
Discussion
I've got family out there and have spent quite a bit of time out there. It's certainly sunny and a lovely place to spend time, I almost moved there myself sometime ago.
From what I've heard from family recently though, it's in a bit of a mess, mainly from the failure of the financial services sector and the UK government not helping in the bail out. So the local government is struggling.
It's a very laid back style of life, with 90 seconds to every minute (if you know what I mean). Loads of lovely beaches, bars, hotels, etc. But it's become very touristy in the last 10 years.
Hope that's of some help.
