Hi all, I'm going t the lake district this april for a week. I know the weather may be a bit off at this time of year but what are the roads like? My plan is to take my Monaro as it's a lot more comfortable for long journeys (from Essex). But what about when I am there, will I regret taking it and wish I had taken the Astra?
I took it to the Isle of man last year with no probs- exept the ferry.

Monaro will be fine - the whole Lakes area is riddled with some fantastic roads but make sure you head north from Kendal to the Kirkstone Pass and down the other side, the road and views are amazing!
