Hi Phockit

I come across your posting dated february 2012 about your silver cerbera v125 dgc, well guess what you have traced her. I bought her from James Agger in july 2011 with 43k on the clock and lucking absolutley stunning. I will be the 8th owner now, as yourself all previouse owners have documented all servicing and extras shes had added. I have hopefully attached a photo, it will be nice to hear from you if you are still on the forum. Hope to hear from you

cheers

Thanks for the update, great to see it's still around and no doubt putting smiles on people's faces smile

It still had the standard 16" wheels when I sold it, are those 18's on there now ??

Hi,
I owned v125 dgc from 2007 to 2009. One of only about 3 cars I've owned in my life and by far the most fun!
Always been more of a bike fan and strangely always felt more scared in the car, especially in the wet!!
Great to see it and hopefully it's still going strong.
Got to love the tvrs and always wanted the cerbera just for a while from the first time I was one.
Regards.

Hello

I am the new owner of tvr cerbera v125 DGC, l bought it from James Agger in Feb 2016.

Do any of you have the black owners manual that came with the car when it was new, also can any of you confirm if the engine has been rebuilt.

Any previous service history would be appreciated

Cheers

Hi Brett,

Great to see the car is still going. I gave all the documentation I had to the guy who bought it off me.

All the history while I had the car is in its blog - http://www.pistonheads.com/members/showServiceHist...

Enjoy

Thank you for the very comprehensive history on blog.

Great news to hear the engine has been rebuilt, was it a full or part rebuild, did tvr give you a letter confirming the works. Do you have a contact for the owner you sold it to.

Cheers

Just chipping in... I remember seeing this car at James' the reason being my MK2 Cerb the same colour had 18" spiders but I always wanted the SP12s and we did a swap deal. Funny as he then sold the car very shortly afterwards and I think it was down to my spiders which TVR owners seem to adore yet I much prefer the SP12s for looks and use.

They are no longer that colour anymore... They had been grey carbon dipped with copper flake (pic) but they are now metallic gun metal (silver sparkle) no pic once I give her a good clean I'll take a nice pic.

Just a top-end rebuild as it suffered valve stretch (known issue). At the same time they switched the internal oil pipes as they changed from narrow high pressure to wide low pressure feeds. This also required a change to engine management system to stop the oil pressure light coming on (always a bit worrying eek)

No factory documentation, just the job sheet from Walldonway which will have been in all the paperwork I passed on when I sold it. A long time back so any contact details have been lost.

All the best
