That's a bit like asking how much a car costs.

How large a cutting area?
How will the material be held down?
How fast does it need to be?

not large 2' x 2' thin 1/8 ply
not super fast..

If I wanted something that size I would get one of the thousands of enthusiasts who are in to that stuff to make one for me, otherwise you end up paying for stuff you don't need. Speed, accuracy, power ( the axes drives and the actual cutter), software etc all cost money, no point in paying for more than you need.
