film of black crap

Washed the tuscan the other day and I noticed that there is streaks of a blackish film around the doors and the rear of the car. It looks as if I have driven through black water but it has stained the paint. It is very faint but if you know its there it stands out like a saw thumb.

So far I have tried a washing, polishing and claying the crap but it wont budge.

Any ideas?

It'll be an oily/greasy deposit... collects on the edges of doors etc.

The way to remove it is a degreasing agent - tar and glue remover if you have some, WD-40 or other mild solvent if you don't.
