What a TOTAL disappointment. Lame acting, poor story, bad script. How it got a nomination at the BAFTAS is beyond me. Give me a good Cohen brothers comedy any day of the week instead of this tripe. I'm sure if your American you will find it funny but if your used to your humour just that little bit more 'sophisticated' then be prepared to be seriously let down.

Concur..... I also wasted 96 minutes of my life! Positively ashamed to admit that once ensconsed in the chair with beer in hand; I stuck with it to the bitter end!

Perfect fare for adolescents.

I didn't find it as good as the hype made it out to be... That seems to be the case for a lot of films these days!

Even the best bit from the trailer (the Tyson, Phil C interface) was edited for the trailer which was nowhere near as funny in the film itself!

Slightly agree. It was funny in places, but not as good as all the hype.

Agree. I didnt find it in the slightest bit funny.
I smiled slightly in two places but the rest of it I was just staring incredulously at the screen thinking "Is this really supposed to be funny?"

Watched this at pictures and really enjoyed it.

Watched it at home and couldn't get into it at all.

You have to be in the mood for a film like this. Same with the Anchor Man, I didn't find it that funny in the cinema but I wasn't really in the mood for it but I've watched it a few times since and it has me in stitches.

i thought it was hilarious..... but then i have the mental age of a 9yr when it comes to stupid comedies..

Everyone i know that has seen it seems to think it was quality... I think films like that arent too dependant upon storyline and acting, it is literally all about stupid, in your face humour.

I was told "it is the funniest film ever" and that " you will not stop laughing".

I didn't start laughing. It was lame and predictable.

Sorry but I loved it but I'll agree that if you're not in the mood I can see how it wouldn't be funny.

But then it's hardly an Oscar epic is it? What else did you expect?

He's very funny in 'role models' too (although it's not much better then the hangover overall)

I do not watch a lot of films these days, and this is an example of why.

Hyped beyond all belief, watched it, and I have to say it is the worst film I have ever had the misfortune to sit through. I just had to stay watching to see if it actually got any better - it didn't.

You really don't watch a lot of films, do you...

I hated watching that merc get trashed, a travesty.

Didn't live up to the hype in my opinion, if nobody had talked about it I may have thought it was a bit of a find, but it just wasn't as "awesomely funny" as people made out!
