Check out the tie the solicitor is wearing in the first photo...I mean Jesus Christ...not only does it appear to be one of those horrendous novelty cartoon ties it also appears to be about 8 inches short. How can anyone take him seriously?

He's wearing a four button suit fercrissakes.

Has the '80s retro thing finished already, and the catwalk is paying homage to 1993 now?

Or is he just clueless?

Actually, yes. I was sorting my wardrobe by colour.

Took ages. The subtleties of salmon vs peach espadrilles are truly confounding when trying to locate the proper place on the shoe rack.

Oh my, but then (and I know I shouldn't) I judge a book by it's cover, and he looks just like a fairly standard Union Rep type person... Not someone I would want to entrust my career to.

Her judgement seems pretty bad to begin with - removing a childs bladder instead of a hernia, so its no surprise really that she chooses this dick to be her solicitor.

Fair point. I did think twice about making such a trivial point in what is such a horrendous story, but that tie (and suit) really is shocking, and trust me, I am no fashion expert!

Pet hate of mine this - short ties.

I also hate it when people have the knot 3 foot wide irked

I have a 4-button suit. I wear it to my meetings. My special meetings, where the doctor checks the meds are still working.

I think it looks very smart, and my carer makes a better job of my tie than that guy.

Corrected that for you, Nick. It scans so much better now, I feel. The below just didn't work really. You can thank me later.

Abuse of moderator powers?

To be honest you've done well to resist for 3 months.

How is your 'Wimpy Special' going down? Martini and babycham aperitif?
