Genuine Carbon Fibre ?

Hi All,

I am hoping you may be able to help, I wish to buy a carbon bootlid for a recently purchased M3 E46 (CSL Style).

If painted How can you tell if it's Carbon Fibre or GRP?

I would imagine weight will be a good indicator- CF will be considerably lighter than GF.

Price - £400-500 it'll be one or two layers of CF over GF. £1000+, it'll be the real deal throughout.
