flights to canada
Discussion
Hi guys...
Im after abit of information (and help!)
Its my mums 60th Birthday in July and we want to send her to canada to visit her best friend.. sounded easy enough when we decided on it and we know this is what she wants.
Im currently trying to find a decent flight out (8th July) with no stops, but will stretch to 1 from leeds bradford or manchester.
returning on 22nd July from Toronto.
does anyone know of any good airlines that I can try?
We dont really want to spend more than £700 at the most but all the ones Iv found so far are about £850!!
I wish I was made of money so I could send her first class etc but unfortunatly Im not
so unless theres any blokes out there that fancy taking my mum on holiday I could do with a point in the right direction if possible as to where to try.........

There are loads of flights for ~£700 on those dates... Just look on somewhere like www.Kayak.co.uk
Hi, google "Canadian Affair", ...... it is run by Thomas Cook & flights from Manchester can be booked for £298 return, all inclusive. They fly direct to Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto etc, and the flights not on special offers are far cheaper than you would imagine. I flew to Calgary at the end of September for a week, 8 hours one way & 8.5 hours the other way, non stop. My girlfriend has just flown over to see me, and the flight from Calgary was delayed for 12 hours, but they were put up in an hotel nearby, and unfortunately the plane was not particularly good, basically it was old and tatty. Her flight back last week was spot on, no delays & a good aircraft. I'm probably going over in May and looking at flights at the moment at £298 return.
Hope this will solve your problem,
Howard

Just checked those dates for you, flying Manchester - Toronto - Manchester, the flight is £498 at the moment, but keep looking on their offers! Maybe she could go on April 27th & return on 11th May ........ that is only £258!!!! Hope this will solve your problem,

We've visited BC every year since 1996, sometimes twice a year. Always use Canadian Affair for flights as they're the best value. They're usually cheapest for car hire too.
Do this^My parents booked return flights to Toronto from Gatwick last year and were more than happy with the price and service. Not the height of luxury, but cheap and efficient.
