Discussion
I'm sure somewhere on here there was a discussion about the most suitable LSD for the G50, but can't for the life of me find it. Any one have any thoughts on this, ie Porsche, Quaife, are Kaaz any good, any others? Best place (not too pricey) to get one would be useful too. Thanks. Andy

Just to buck the trend, I found that running without LSD reduced understeer.
Nope - I'm with you on that Stig. It does tend to push the nose on. With our power/weight though, it's easily corrected with bucket loads of throttle and an arm of O/L!!
Now, with some throttle play and quick O/L you could keep it under control but you may loose precious time and not be too tidy looking

I wasn't suggesting not to have LSD (beneficial in other ways of course), but like all things, you adopt different driving techniques to get the most out of the setup you have.
Pete - as you'll now know very well, the first 2 things you learn very quickly as you get faster on track are to brake and turn in later!

True, the use of weight transfer does wonders when you get the hang of things, but until you master the trick, you stamp on the brakes, let go at the beginning of the corner and turn in...., surprise, surprise, your going wideeeee and sweat starts forming under your helmet as you hammer the brakes and see how things get it all wrong. Sometimes, its a fine balance between goes, going.... gone. Hmmmm I wonder what went wrong.
You want to try shaking off nearly 15 years of Roadcraft training when you venture on track. Adopting the push-pull steering and no brake gear overlap is not quite the correct manner!!
I'm only just managing to make a total switch to my driving attitude when on circuit. I could do with a few more laps with Mike Cooper or Dave (about 100 would help) to start adding some more of the track driving fineries.
