Tropico (1,2 & 3)

Anyone else play these? Loved tropico 1, 2 was OK an have just downloaded the demo for 3!

Loved the first and second but only played the demo of the third and it was so glitchy i don't know if i will buy the full version. How is the full version?

No idea how 3 plays, will be giving the demo a whirl tonight!

Games can get boring in sandbox mode, but ramp up the difficulty and it's quite rewarding!

Personally I prefer Sandbox, I prefer trying to make the perfect city in games like Constructor and the best laid out and most powerful base in C & C games. Really enjoyed the first Tropico game though.

Sandbox can be good! I had a tiny flat island with loads of minerals, ended up as a giant sinkhole with apartments and my palace round the edge! It'd be great with more military options and proper roads... The ability to have multiple islands In the same "map" would be great too!

I must admit, I've spent loads of time playing Tropico 3 recently on the 360, and I find it very therapeutic. Its not perfect by any stretch, but for me its one of those games where I intend on giving it a whirl for half an hour, only to find that somehow 4 hrs have elapsed...

Played Tropico 3 last night, blitzed the first scenario, lost the second. Think it'd be ok on PC.

Re-installed 2, as I couldn't find the disk for 1, damn it's good fun!
