3 series compact

Going to view a 320td tomorrow, what checks are a must, specific to the compact? Or are they just the same as the normal 3?

make sure rear wiper works as the motor is dear on a compact,i bought one the other week,wasn't planning on a compact but went and looked at a couple and they grew on me,oh and on mine the rear wiper doesn't work, doh!
