2 quick questions regarding annual/6K and major/18K services oft quoted on service menu prices:

1) Obviously the annual has to be done every year or 6k miles, whichever comes sooner, but for the major, is it every 18K miles regardless of time? Or should it actually read major/3yr/18K i.e. every 18K miles or 3 years, whichever comes sooner.

2) In the F355 service book, it appears to need a major service every 12.5K miles rather than 18K e.g. major/12.5K service, .....how does that fit with the major/18K on the fixed price menus?

TIA

1) every 18K miles or 3 years, whichever comes sooner.

2) ignore that

annual / 6k mile, annual / 6k mile, major / 18k mile, repeat.
Add in cam belts as and when.

Thanks smile Not that I'm doubting your credibility, but can anyone else confirm this? I've already had a moment today where I found out something I thought I knew was wrong, so it happens occasionally!

There is some confusion caused by the first major service coming at 6250 miles then every 12500 after that. This is true for my 360 and I assume for the 355 also. Hence the significance of the 18750 service.
