The back of my AV cabinet looks like a rats nest, and badly needs tidying up. What's the best solution you've found? I've run the surround cables under the carpet, but I'm still left with a rats nest of power, interconnect, and sat cables.

Ditto, that and we've cut down on the number of boxes needed for entertainment - TV, amp, media centre, 5.1 speakers, subwoofer and Wii.

Do you not get interference though from running the cables together? If not I'll get some of those.

I use a couple of black zip ties to keep them all together. IMO looks better than those cable wraps.

Huge Ikea cabinets. TV stand that takes the 32" TV, Sky+ & DVD player. Cabinet above takes the sperates, tape deck redface, CD & amp. Two side cabinets that take the DVD collection. Can't see a signe wire.

Main problem is the speaker wires as there are 7 speakers dotted about the room. Oh and the extra cable from the Sky+ that goes to the kitchen TV.

pretty much cable tied mine up in loops that are hidden behind the entertainment unit, so cant see them anyways, but tidied them up as i was told to do

I have 14 cables and I made up some new cables linking them in parallel in groups of 4 into 5 sockets at the back of a power supply. I bought some new plugs and cable at a cost of around £12.

Or use one of these
