Any Contractors Using "Giant Strongbox"
Discussion
Not for me personally - but someone I know looking into doing a few months contracting. They'll not be doing enough to make it viable to set up their own limited company - probably - although that might have been my favoured route.
Have seen that the contracting agency have a link up with Giant. I know nothing about them, although they seem to be long established, have some impressive service promises and not be charging at silly rates. Be nice to know if anyone's had any experience of them.
Obviously don't name and shame if there's anything potentially really bad to say - pm me. But if anyone has any general comments (or better suggestions) it'd be really helpful, of course.

I've been using them on and off for about 5 years, but only where my clients won't accept invoices from a sole trader or have a preferred 'agency'.
Can't say I've really had a problem with them, and their system is simple enough to use.
The other option is to see if you can simply invoice the client directly as a sole trader and just let the tax man you're going to be working self-employed and add the income you earned on your self-assessment.
