SATNAV FOR CAMERAS AND A BIT OF MAPPING

Hi I am after a satnav my road angel has packed up!So I thought I would try and get something combined,dont want to much on the dash.looked at garmin1490t large screenetc not a bad price with 1st year downloads free.Just need to know if camera alerts are as good as angels.But I am open to your opinions if tried and tested.Also europe mapping is not really needed.
