hi all,

apparently as a photographer, the Father in laws neighbour understands that means i know all about how to put these new panasonic MTS files of her safari on a load of DVDS.

should be simple, but then i realise that i can burn it onto a dvd, but cant watch it anywhere, as each file is a bloody MTS high def type affair.

Could someone point me in the right direction of what i need to do to sort this for her please. I dont really want to go buying converting software, as this is just a freebie favour which has landed in my lap.

Thanks a lot
Lee

You need software capable of opening these files and converting them, which may very well involve having to spend money.

Final cut on the mac should open these and convert them to display on a "normal" DVD, otherwise Roxio make some software that should deal with them called "Popcorn 4".

anydvd converter pro can handle them.

might have to fiddle with the frame rate to get it perfect.

you can play these files on a ps3 also!
