Just a few questions, what should the adaptive values be as I am sure mine were both at -0.4/0.5 which I thought was good. Also would I be right to think that both lamb sensors should read about the same and go up and down? Will plug laptop in see whats gone wrong, also battery light came on while it was being tested at mot station. Does it have a TVR box of tricks or is it just a voltage regulater that needs changing on back of alternator? Any suggestions would be appreciated very much!!!read

iirc there's a whole map full of adaptive values, isn't there? against engine speed and pedal i think. been a while since i looked at mine. when one of my lambdas was bust, they were all winding up to the max stop on that bank, which seemed to be +/-37.5

the lambda sensor itself is a binary sensor - just gives high or low voltage for lean or rich. you should therefore, as you say, just see it toggling from high to low every few seconds in a sort of "square wave", once warmed up.

i'll take a look at some of my datalogs if i get chance

Check the big fuse - it is straight in the charging circuit and can cause all sorts of strange readings.
