Got myself an agency interview type thing tomorrow biggrin
pretty sure this is just a quick chat and simple tests to show my maff, English and pc skills.

Only the first agency type interview thing but it's a start biggrin

If I get the job it's just generally moving stuff and helping customers carry stuff to their cars!

Don't know what I'm hoping for from this thread, any agency interview experiences / advice welcome I suppose.

Getting on the first run of the job ladder, so watch out I may soon be armed with money hehe

I'm assuming it temping agency work you're talking about? Agency can be pretty good if you're a student, though i've found work can be a bit irregular with mine or it requires a lot of travelling. The 'interview' I had with the agency was basically just to get you to fill out a load of forms to check your character, skills etc.. not difficult.

One problem is they are bloody disorganised, so dont panic if you've no idea what the fk you're meant to be doing and where your meant to go when they send you off to work.... its standard agency.
On a plus point the employers never expect too much of you as agency staff, so work isn't always that hard.

Its a permanent weekend job.

Had the interviewy type thing was just photo copy passport, confirm NI number, do some computer test things (not necessary for job I'm applying for but everyone has to do them) and fill in a few forms.

They are supposed to contact me soon with time and date for interview biggrin
