Looking to buy an x box 360 and found this cheeky chappie on ebay. Cant see it being legit, but he's sold 50 and has 100% positive feedback.

Fleabay listing said: "I promise.."

Well one hopes he'll deliver then... wink

There's no recent feedback for the said item sold is there? Despite the fact that 51 units appears to be sold?

Probably will be one of those refer mates link jobbies. Except that'll you be completing them for someone else first. That's why he'll pay you £3.

Sounds like the pyramid thing to me.

a mate at school(10 years ago) did this for a snazzy phone at the time. Moto V wings or the matrix nokia springs to mind.

He was getting more and more excited about being closer to the top - Still don't think he has got it yet hehe

I'm sticking with my above theory.

4. You get a free Xbox 360 Elite stuffed full of cocaine that I need you to hold onto for a couple of months.

You get rewarded with the grand sum of £3.00 and he lets you keep the box.

No, can't decide whether i want a Wii/PS3 or Xbox360 he listed.
Decisions, decisions... Perhaps one of each will do.

1. You win auction

2. He sends you a referral link (with his unique code embedded)

3. You'll have to sign up for some sort of 'free trial' which you must to remember to cancel before the end.

4. He pays you the £3, because he probably only needs around 10 people to sign up via his referral link in order to get the free xbox. He's effectively getting the xbox for £30 (pay ten people £3)

5. You do the same sort of auction that he is and get your 'free' xbox.

It's just a pyramid scheme.
