The ubiquitous 'what camera' thread..!
Discussion
Hi all
Just looking for some impartial camera advice. At the moment we have a fairly mundane Sony Cybershot compact, and I'm looking to move on - although not quite into the SLR world
Ideally, I'd like a fairly flexible camera, something that excels indoors taking pictures of junior, and makes a fair job of the outdoors, air shows and that sort of stuff. Yes I suppose I'm after a jack of all trades! The Sony ok outdoors, but is poor with indoor shots with pics usually falling into two categories, 1) Way too bright, shiny faces etc. or, if I turn the flash off - too much shake and a picture that looks more like sci-fi than our 9 month old!
Picking up from another thread, I've been looking at reviews of this: http://www.panasonic.co.uk/html/en_GB/Products/LUM...
It's the Panny Lumix DMC FZ38... It seems to fill all of the boxes and be a step in the right direction?
Any thoughts folks?
