“Let’s get a crappy old BM for the ring this year” he said

The next thing I know there is a touring car embryo my garage and huge void where my bank account used to be!!!!
Can anyone tell me how to put pics on here and I will put some up?
My current job is trying to squeeze 330 mm x 38 mm floating rotors with calipers to suit on the front; the only problem is the callipers are also 205 mm wide. I have drawn this up in 3D and they will fit by offsetting the wheel by 29 mm. Reading up on the theory behind increasing the front track width, it seems this may be a good thing due to “steady state load transfer” promoting under steer. The rears will also be offset by the same if not a little less. Does anyone have any experience in experimenting with different track widths front to back?
I also have read that most race cars (70%) have a larger front track width than rear but road cars have the opposite. So I tried to find out why by reading some articles on “vehicle dynamics and load transference” after the first couple of words it was clear this was a bad idea.
So in simple terms
If I bang some big spacers on the front will this affect the handling in a big way?
Cheers
