Forza 3- Seasons greetings GTR

So I randomly ended up with a Nissan GTR with a Seasons greetings design on it a while back before I bought the extra car packs.
I bought the packs today and so can now use it etc.

What did I miss with this car?
Why have I got it?
Was it just some random player or something by Turn 10?

If you bought the LCE, your are a VIP member and get free cars from time to time....bit of a perk I suppose.

I know when I got the game I also got a card for a couple of track and 'classic' cars, if that's what you mean.

Did you get the one with the fancy box, keyring and USB stick? That is the Limited Edition version... You get gifted a car from Turn10 every now and again, the latest one being a Nurburgring M5.

I received that, and thought I'd leave it in my messages as I didn't have the pack but might download it some day. I checked in my messages the other day and the damned thing has gone!
