The reason I ask is its a 51 Plate so pre-face lift, is there a lot more what can go wrong with these early models?

Don't over look the cost of a set of rubber. If it's on 19's they can be refurbed pretty cheaply so don't worry too much about flaking laquer on the rims.

The paperwork is almost as important as the car. FSH is a must I'd want to see regular money spent. If the owner has been a cheap skate walk.

Oh and get it inspected by someone who really knows what they're looking for.
