My 20003 Punto was up on my mates ramp while I was replacing the exhaust. I noticed the sump was a little rusty so tapped it with the screwdriver. My friend then started to brush it with a wire brush and almost immediately about eight holes appeared and lots of oil poured out. Result, new sump. This could have happened while on the road with expensive consequences. So my advice is check your sump ! I was lucky this happened while it was on the ramp.
