Alarm Sensitivity

Another job i need to do is adjust the alarm as it goes off too easily.
On my chim it was under the tunnel i can't find it there on the Tuscan can any one tell me please where it is.

In behind the ash tray tube thing under the tunnel cover. In with the two door controller modules.

Can't remove tunnel completely as screw at the back under vent just spins i wonder if there's a nut underneath.
Did manage to get my fingers underneath around handbrake but just felt the air pipe so gave up looking in that area

It's a self tap so try pulling it out

Thanks pete spot on screw thread was wrapped in carpet thread now fitted new screw after ripping it out
Sensitivity was set to half now at a third that screw slot is small.

Good stuff.
Must do mine somewhen...it has a tendency to go off in the work car park in the summer with the roof left off if someone parks next to it. Most annoying

Sensitivity (field of vision) of the microwave sensor will vary dependant on ambient temp. They are a PITA to set up. The cover should pop off the box to make adjusting the pot easier.

Shep can you quantify "field of vision". Is it an "eye" and if so where is it? I was under the impression it was a motion sensor. Can you PM me as I am driving the neighbours mad and I think the fitted cover I use may be causing movement in the wind/rain etc.

YHM. More to do with its placement I suspect as well as how sensitive its set....
