we are visiting Bucharest for a 5 day drinking session , sightseeing, normal boys trip sort of stuff, etc
any ideas where the best place is to stay?
we like to be near the action,old town cafe bar type of areas?
any ideas of places worth visiting within a few hours drive of Bucharest?

Go to Dracula's restaurant, it's near the centre Parliament building. Very cheesy, but good fun and great food.

Bit pricey but as good as any hotel anywhere (within reason)

They have a traditional wood panelled smoking bar as well as an ice blue cool bar etc
